• The 2012 US National Championships was held in Indianapolis. In order to compete, Master division players must have earned a minimum of 10 Play Points from throughout the season. Whereas, Seniors and Juniors needed a minimum of 5 Play Points. Registration was gaurateed to the first 640 players that showed up, though 1,005 players were permitted into the event.
• Friday consisted of 9 rounds (Best of 3), in which the Top 128 players moved on to a brutal single-elimination Top Cut on Saturday, saving Sunday for the remaining Top 16 players.
