• The 2004 US National Championships was the first ever US Nationals and held in Columbus during the "Origins Game Fair (International Game Expo)".
• This was the only ever National Championship that was a single one-day event, which came with its faults. The most memorable of which, was that the event didn't end until after 5 a.m.
