• The 2009 US National Championships was held in St. Louis. This was also the last Nationals that was a two-day event.
• Saturday consisted of 9 rounds (Best of 3), in which 679 players competed in Day 1. The Top 128 players moved on to a brutal single-elimination Top Cut on Sunday.
