2022 European International Championships
Sword & Shield - SSH: Brilliant Stars
• The 2022 European International Championships was held in Germany for a second year in a row. (Not counting the two-year hiatus due to covid.) It was a three-day event where anyone was welcome to play, though there was a hard cap in place that filled up within a single day, nearly a month before the event took place.
• Day 1 consisted of 9 rounds (Best of 3), in which 618 players competed in Day 1. All players with 19 match points moved on to Day 2. (71 players competed in Day 2) Day 2 consisted of 5 additional rounds of Swiss, resulting in a cut of Top 8. Top 8 & Top 4 matches were played out that night, saving each division's finals for Championship Sunday.
