ExCeL London
Royal Victoria Dock, One Western Gateway• The 2023 European International Championships returned to London for the first time since 2018, making this the third EUIC held in London. It was a three-day event where anyone was welcome to play. (NOTE: All three waves of this event's online registration capped out within seconds.)
• Day 1 consisted of 9 rounds (Best of 3), in which 1,525 players competed in Day 1. All players with 19 match points or more moved on to Day 2. (158 players competed in Day 2) Day 2 consisted of 6 additional rounds of Swiss, resulting in a cut of Top 8. Top 8 & Top 4 matches were played out that night, saving each division's finals for Championship Sunday.
• There was a pop-up Pokémon Center for the first ever outside of NAIC or Worlds. But it was only open Friday - Sunday and required an online reservation to enter.
